How much does online therapy cost in Ontario?
The average price in Ontario is approximately $150-$250 a session. I do my best to keep my prices as affordable as possible. I currently charge $90 a session.
How much does individual therapy cost?
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you determine if therapy is the right fit. Regular individual therapy sessions are $90 for 50 minutes.
What to do if you can't afford therapy in Canada?
There is free support in Canada for therapy, but the waitlist can be long and there is a limited amount of sessions. If you are in Ontario, reach out to ConnexOntario. Other provinces connect with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
Is private therapy worth it?
Many people find that private therapy provides personalized support, flexible scheduling, and access to a wider range of therapists. While it is an investment, there are options for affordable therapy and low-cost counselling to make it more accessible. I offer affordable online therapy, so you can receive support from the comfort of your home.
Does the Canadian government pay for therapy?
Publicly funded therapy is available in some settings, such as hospitals and community mental health programs, but access can be limited. Does OHIP pay for counselling?
Not currently. There are some free counseling services through not for profit agencies.
